Pascaline Lepeltier, Best Sommelier of France 2018, Meilleur ouvrier de France 2018, is one of the most influential people in the world of wine. Although she has a degree in philosophy, it was to sommellerie that she decided to turn after tasting a glass of Yquem 1937!

Known in the press as ‘the evangelist of natural wines’ or ‘the new prophetess of wines’ in the USA, she embodies the ultimate knowledge of sommellerie. A lover of words when they praise the qualities of a great wine, she is currently writing a book entitled ‘Mille vignes, penser le vin de demain’ (A thousand vines, thinking about tomorrow’s wine), which she will present during her visit to the Bistrot André.

Tessa Laroche from Domaine aux Moines will be attending this unique event with Pascaline Lepeltier.

Tessa Laroche has made biodynamic viticulture her real expertise since 2017. All the vines she grows in the commune of Savennières, south of Angers, are Chenin.

At Bistrot André, she will be telling us all about the wines of the Savennières Roche aux Moines appellation, which will also accompany some of the dishes on the menu.
