Anne-Sophie Pic and Sophie Adenot
A unique encounter between two women with exceptional journeys.
For her first long-duration mission aboard the ISS, Sophie Adenot chose to highlight a French talent: Anne-Sophie Pic.
During their meeting, they discovered shared values: high standards, discipline, teamwork, passion, and a mutual desire to push boundaries.

For Epsilon1, the astronaut entrusted the chef with crafting ‘bonus food’ : bespoke festive menus drawn from her tastes and memories, bringing warmth, comfort, and emotion, even hundreds of kilometers above the Earth.
A year of R&D to send the Chef’s culinary signature soaring in zero gravity.
Anne-Sophie Pic and her teams designed space-adapted recipes at the Pic Lab, combining intense flavors with textures that remain stable in zero gravity, while honoring the terroir. In partnership with Servair, they balance gastronomy with technical constraints — preservation, sterilization, and weightlessness — without ever compromising the emotional impact of taste.”
“
What an incredible honor to be approached by Sophie Adenot to accompany her on her mission! Through our conversations and tastings, I discovered an extraordinary woman, inspiring in so many ways. Cooking for space is an exhilarating challenge, and it is a true privilege to be part of this extraordinary adventure.
