A vibrant celebration of the treasures of the season, the Maison Pic 4H is a gourmet trip that explores the beauty of the local landscapes. Between vineyards, orchards and mountains, the adventure begins in the Rhône Valley with a Grape, Saffron and Yellow Wine Tartelette and a Croustillant with Coffee, Hazelnuts and Burgundy “Cazette”.
In the Drôme orchards at this time of year, the fresh air comes through in a Verrine of pear, shiso and cumin and a tasty Spoon with kiwi and dill. The quince apple Chausson, the spiced pumpkin Financier with mandarin zest and the almond Madeleine add to the magic of the season. From the top of its tower of sweets, the Tarte tatin, cinnamon berry, takes on the elegant allure of a delightful apple that no one would dare bite into.
But there’s nothing to stop the epicurean adventuring along the mountain roads. The Mont Blanc with chestnuts and citrus fruits is an unrestrained pleasure to savour, while the Baba with gin, preserved blueberries and fir buds invites you to intoxicate yourself with the woody fragrances of a pine forest. The journey continues with Ors noirs, a mousse of rooibos chocolate, “grué”, vanilla “crémeux” and black garlic. Finally, the regressive Caramel Walnut Tartlet brings the experience to a close.
